Untitled
some books you fall in love with
and remember every page word
letter printed softly on your heart
sharing moments
pleasing moments
as tender fingers smudge the pages,
but then you forget and go on living
left behind to gather dust
it sits in lonely echoes
with only dog-eared pages
to remember you by.
and then you find it once again
still the same but just not quite
what you remember.
