Here's an interesting fact - men are more sociable at the scene of an accident than when they're driving on the roads. It's true - when two guys bang their car into each other, you'd expect them to come barging out of their cars with switchblade at the ready. Instead, they saunter out of the car, smile at each other,
shake hands, grin like idiots, inspect the damage, and then proceed to look blankly at each other until one of them comes up with the brilliant idea to call the police. After this herculian task is done, they then proceed to chat each other up and discuss things such as the weather, the horrible traffic congestion, and this week's winning lottery number.
In other news, I'm 85% sure I'll be heading to the U.K in the middle of next month for some work training. I have been babbling on about going for a number of months, but today it was confirmed by my boss, so the wheels have been set in motion. Although I half expect that as soon as I board that plane, I get a call from my boss
"You know actually, we've decided to bring that guy down here instead to do your training"
